Walkers from Hill Dickinson scale heights in charity challenge

A group of intrepid walkers from law firm, Hill Dickinson has braved strong winds, horizontal rain and low visibility to conquer one of Snowdonia’s most challenging mountains.

The twenty-eight strong Hill Dickinson team completed the mammoth challenge on Saturday 3 September to raise funds for a number of local charities.

The specially designed charity event, named the Hill Dickinson Ultimate Challenge, involved a climb up the north ridge of Tryfan, a 110ft abseil down a cliff face and a number of team challenges. The event began at 8.30am and the last walkers were back at camp by 7pm.

David Wareing, Hill Dickinson Senior Partner took part in the challenge and said “We wanted to raise as much money as possible for charity whilst benefiting from the team-building and personal development opportunities the challenge presented. The weather conditions on the day meant a greater level of adversity to overcome and each of us was taken out of our comfort zone at times. There was a great sense of achievement shared by all who took part.”

The walk was organised as part of Hill Dickinson’s drive to support local charities and is expected to raise more than £5000.
